Owls Class

Welcome

This term we will be focusing on transitioning the children into school life. Our 'All About Me' topic will help us all to get to know each other. We will soon begin our Phonics lessons where children will learn a new sound everyday. In English, we will listen to stories and we will use our phonics knowledge to label pictures. In Maths, we will be matching, sorting and comparing objects then we will move onto measure and patterns.

Key Days

Welly Wednesdays: Children will need labelled wellies and waterproofs to keep at school so they are prepared to explore the Forest School. 

PE - Wednesdays: Please ensure your child has a PE kit in school, hair is tied up and earrings are removed. 

Fridays: Home reads are counted and children with five or more reads are entered into the raffle for the chance to win a book.
